Do You Have Problems With Your Cat Meowing All Of The Time
I have a really bad problem with Peanut doing this and I mean it is bad. If I shut a door and leave her out she will sit there and meow until I open it, and I mean if I would leave it shut for 3 to 4 hours, honest to goodness she will sit there and meow, this is just crazy. She scratches the door and sits and meows until it almost turns into a scream, then when I open it she is fine, it’s just unreal. So I was reading this and I wanted to pass it on in case someone else may have or had the same problem I have got, and maybe have some advise for me on how to handle this and take care of it. I found this below which does make allot of sense, and I have been putting this into action but heck it’s only been one day, lol!

The single most common reason a cat will meow excessively is because it has been trained to do so and what I mean is, your cat has probably learned that all it has to do is meow and it gets whatever it wants, food, attention, affection. Often, what starts out as a demand for attention soon becomes a self-reinforcing habit. This situation becomes even worse if the cat is lonely or bored. The first step in breaking this habit is to exercise your cat daily with active play sessions. Secondly, pay attention to your cat and give it what it wants, but ONLY when it is quiet.

I really appreciate you guys at least giving me an answer. I am serious she is something else. I am not sure if since we found her and she is back home safe and sound, that may have something to do with it. See what it is, I have to lock her out of our bedroom at night or I am serious she will not let us get any sleep at all. I mean she will lay down for a little while but then she wants to to start climbing on anything and everything she can in our bedroom or she walks on our heads to get our attention and we are up all night. So I have lock her out at night and she is okay until daylight comes and she is like a rooster, only right at my door, lol! But then again she knows I am going to give in to her so she keeps it up, I am just at my wits end here, lol! I suppose allot of it is my fault spoiling her and letting her have her way, I guess when you lose a cat and are as lucky as I am to get her back you tend to spoil them a bit huh? Oh well, she is my baby girl and I love her with all my heart but I would really like to find a way she can be happy and we can SLEEP,lol!
